Page Law’s Scholarship Essay Contest: $1,000
The Page Law Firm’s Personal Injury and Family Law Team are well-aware of the huge expense related to higher education. While tuition at American colleges and universities continues to rise, students and their families are often left with significant financial hardship to overcome.
To help give back, Page Law is proud to be among the many law firms that offer scholarships to students. Page Law has sponsored an annual $1,000 college scholarship essay contest for three years in a row.
The 2019 Page Law Scholarship Essay Contest details and how to apply are below.
Scholarship Award
$1,000 to be used toward college tuition
Scholarship Submission Deadline
The submission deadline is July 1st, 2019. The winner will be contacted and officially announced on August 1st, 2019.
Requirements to Apply for Scholarship
To qualify for the Page Law Firm’s scholarship you need to be a US resident who is either a current college student or have applied for the 2019 Fall Semester at a US based accredited college or university.
How to Apply for Page Law Firm’s Scholarship
You will need to send the following information to our team along with your essay to this email address here. Your essay needs to be on one of the topics we’ve outlined below:
Basic Information to include with your submission:
Full Name, State of Residence, College that you’re currently attending or have applied to, Current year in school and what field of study you’re interested in or are currently studying. You can send this information as well as your essay here.
The 2019 Scholarship Essay Topic
To participate in the contest, you’ll be asked to write an essay that includes images as well as supporting graphics and is a minimum of 1000-words. Work needs to be original and not published on or offline elsewhere It must also be well structured with some real actionable points and helpful take-aways for the reader.
1.) Highway Bicycle Accidents
As a cyclist – what can you do to help avoid being caught in a car accident and make yourself safer in the event you are. This might include safety tips and equipment, crash aids and ways to avoid bad situations.
2.) Avoiding Bike and Motorcycle Accidents
Bikes and motorcycles can be difficult to see for drivers of cars and particularly vans and trucks. Give us tips designed to help drivers of vehicles avoid hitting someone on a bike or motorcycle. This can cover topics like being alert to danger points on the road, common mistakes that bikers make that drivers can be aware of and other safety related items you may research.
3.) Top Driver Safety Tips to Stay Alert and Stay Alive!
Topics can include safety gadgets, safe driving tips, things to avoid in regards to distractions, city specific tips as well as long distance and country driving tips.
Tips for Success: Applicants will gain consideration for clearly well researched material from a variety of reputable online and offline sources. Providing references with the article will also help. Winners are likely to be those who have shown good research, rather than producing an off the cuff piece. Do your best to include a good introduction to hook the reader and a solid conclusion to make them want to read more.

Chi Nnoka, a student at the University at Buffalo in New York, wrote an essay on Motorcycle Safety Tips that stood out among all of the essays submitted as well researched and well written. Thanks to his submission he is the lucky recipient of our $1,000 scholarship!
