Exit Airport
RIGHT onto I-59/I-20 toward Downtown. Go 3 miles.
STAY in 2nd lane from the right.
RIGHT merge to US 280 East / US 31 South
Quickly LEFT merge still following US 280. Go 3 miles.
RIGHT on exit ramp to 21st Avenue South.
If going to Embassy Suites, go straight across 21st Avenue
RIGHT at bottom on 21st Avenue. Go 0.2 miles
RIGHT at first red light onto Richard Arrington
FOURTH building on RIGHT is 1933 Building
Narrative:
1. Exit the Airport on MESSER AIRPORT HWY.
2. Go about one mile until reach an elevated highway passing over the Airport Highway.
3. Just before the elevated highway, turn right to merge onto I-59 S/I-20 W toward TUSCALOOSA/ DOWNTOWN.
4. Go 3.18 miles. At about 2.5 miles, position yourself in the second lane from the right, and start looking for the US 280 Exit. There are several exits.
5. From here on you, you need to be in the exact lane for the exit that you are taking. The turns come unexpectedly and you need to be positioned exactly, particularly if traffic is moving fast.
6. Follow the signs to Highway 280, Exit 126A, so that you merge onto US-280 E/ US-31 S/ ELTON B STEPHENS EXPRESSWAY.
7. Once you merged off of Interstate I-59/I-20, the road appears to be two-lane, but it will actually immediately split again. The road will be looping to the left, and you MUST STAY in the left lane, following the signs to US 280.
8.: Take the 21ST AVE S exit, and turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Go .14 miles.
9. Turn RIGHT onto RICHARD ARRINGTON BLVD.
10. 1933 Building is the 4th building on the right. Page Law Firm sign at the street. 1933 on the building. We are on the ground floor.
Notes:
Its approximately 8 miles from the Airport to our office. Travel time is 10 to 15 minutes.
If you are staying at Embassy Suites, instead of turning right at the bottom of the ramp on 21st Street, you can go straight across 21st Street to the hotel, which is just over the rise.
